Local Network Coordinator Roles
Local Network Coordinator Roles Role of the Coordinator – To co-ordinate the management of the local Network as part of the overall County Network. Ensure a full programme is developed and delivered in conjunction with County Scout Network Commissioner. Develop and maintain links with the local District Commissioner(s) or other partners, local Explorer Scout Leaders, County Scout Network Commissioner and County Scout Network Administrator Advise the County Administrator of changes in Network Membership. Boy Scouts of America camp staff

The International Camp Staff Programme (ICSP) is operated by The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) in conjunction with The Scout Association. It offers you the opportunity to work for 6 to 12 weeks during the summer months (commencing mid June) as a Counsellor at one of the BSA Summer Camps or Cub Scout Day Camps.

Kandersteg International Scout Centre Staff

The staff system at Kandersteg is very special and aimed at giving all the staff the greatest possible experience during their time here, while looking after more than 10’000 guests a year. The Short Term staff are vital for the running of the Centre. They are young people who arrive every 3 months with new ideas, new ways of doing things, wanting to learn and bring new experiences to others.

Easter 2008 - Explorer Belt (Tunisia Explored)

This is an opportunity for Scouts & Guides (Aged between 16-25 at the time of the event) to take part in the first Explorer Belt expedition ran by the UK-Arab National Scout Fellowship. The aim of the Explorer Belt is to offer Network members and Senior Section Guides an insight into, and a wider understanding of, another Country - its people - its culture - its problems - and to give them opportunities for initiative, resource and endurance. Explorer Belt is neither a competition nor a test - it’s a CHALLENGE!!

Closing date for all applications and deposit: 1ST SEPTEMBER 2007.

Network Leader roles

Are you interested in working with 18 to 25 year olds or Do you know… of anyone that would be willing to assist the Network? There are opportunities in North Yorkshire Scout Network as area CSNL in the North or west of the County supporting the local Networks in that area and developing relations with Explorers/ Fellowships and the public, or as a role specific CSNL for the Network as International, Awards, Moving In Moving On (Explorer/ Fellowship), Further Education Relations etc. Offering assistance and mentoring as required.
